We have a fascinating new book on elephants called “The Elephant’s Secret Sense: the hidden life of the wild herds of Africa” by Caitlin O’Connell. She makes a groundbreaking discovery that elephants “listen through their limbs,” feeling reverberations on the earth’s surface for approaching friends or enemies.
We have other titles, both fiction and non-fiction, on elephants for patrons of all ages.

This is the April 2008 upgrade of Cook Memorial Library’s new website, in development by Scriblio.
