Welcome
This is the April 2008 upgrade of Cook Memorial Library’s new website, in development by Scriblio. It’s a brand new model for libraries, constructed to be interactive throughout, and to give website users the same opportunity for give-and-take that’s one of the joys of visiting our physical library on Tamworth’s Main Street.
If this is your first visit to the new site, please go to the HELP link. It will show you how to navigate the website. Please feel free to comment. Our automation system, InfoCentre, can be accessed directly for reserves and renews, and creating reading lists. -

This is a beautiful website. I’m a manager in a large, urban, *supposedly* sophisticated, California public library and we’re miles behind you guys on the 2.0 front (much of which I think is valuable). Great work!!!
A note of explanation on the comment from Remaining Relevant above.
When someone refers to our website in a blog post, it registers as a “bracketed” comment back to us. I receive an e-mail and decide whether to publish it. Most of the time I choose not to, but there is a sprinkling of bracketed comments throughout the website from blogs that I believe may be of interest to patrons of this website.
It’s amazing! …..Viva la 2.0!!

[…] I am scheduled to give an introduction to Web 2.0 to the Tamworth Library Friends group. Tamworth has been so good to me, giving me a chance to test Scriblio, so I was excited to talk to […] Click here for Lichen’s blogpost that this is excerpted from (Error 404 avoidance).
