Impending upgrade

This morning I have turned off comments in order to prepare for an upgrade. I hope to complete the process within a week (but that’s not a promise). I apologize for the sad loss of commenting, but it is just temporary and it’ll come back with a cleaned up database and the latest version of Scriblio. Thanks for your patience and Happy New Year!

Improvements and fixes to this site

Late last night I upgraded the software that runs this website to the latest version of Scriblio. This also improved some problems that came with the last upgrade. Certain catalog records should display a bit nicer now. Because of the upgrade, however, a couple beloved features had to be disabled, including ‘Related Items’.

I am working on a new look for the site which will bring a bunch of cool stuff back - so look for that this fall. If you have anything you’d love to see or you find anything that isn’t working properly, please leave a comment. Thanks very much, Lichen

We’ve upgraded

Last Friday we had to take this site down for a bit in order to upgrade it. We’re hoping that the new version will allow Jay and everyone else to add new books easier so that you can see the absolute latest and greatest available at the library.

The upgrade could have created some bugs, though. Please help up find them and leave a comment on this post if you find something not working as it should. Soon we’ll get everything back ship shape.

Thanks all, Lichen

Display Case

The Cook Library has a locked glass-fronted display case, 3 by 4 feet, and 15 inches deep, with four adjustable shelves, that is perfect for displaying unusual collections. If you have a collection that you would like to share with your community, please let the librarians know. We’s love to schedule your treasures for display in one of our cases.
